Where the H-E DOUBLE HOCKEY STICKS is Spring?

Answer: not anywhere near here. We've had another 18 inches of snow in the past couple of days.
I have never been so anxious for Spring and warm weather....actually, we'll need many days of warm weather to melt all this snow.
I need to go from this (taken this morning).....

and this (taken yesterday afternoon)....

to this....

and then this....

For now, the closest thing to bouquets and gardens is this....

Guess I'll just have to make do until the real thing comes along.

  1. Hang in there, I hear it will be spring soon. Still plenty of snow here too, and I'm growing quite weary of it...time for green!

  2. you're hilarious although I know you don't mean to be. your photos are lovely, maybe if I don't get enough snow on my travels to Iowa, I should head on up your way to be sure to see it? you can slap me now lol
i haven't seen snow in so long, it will be exciting to me! okay you can slap me again lol.

I LOVE your header with those wonderful photos! Very pretty!

  3. Oh my! That IS a lot of snow. I hope spring comes sooner than later to you!

  4. Wow...that's a lot of snow! I hope you get some warmer weather soon. Just not too much too soon that could melt the snow too fast. The picture with seeds and the embroidered cloth look happy, warm and springy. We finally have warmer weather here. I've been able to open up the doors and windows the past few days. It's wonderful! Hopefully, the warmer weather is heading your way. :-)

  5. I hear you, so tired of cold dreary weather. It makes me tired and it feels so gloomy. At least there was sunshine today.

  6. I don't know but if you find spring can you send her on down to Chicago! Ha! Your pictures are gorgeous...even the shots of the snow! Wow! You totally have us beat in that department! Take care and I hope we all get some green soon!

  7. Wow! That is a lot of snow. But the good news is, Spring will come -- and I can tell it is gonna be just beautiful in your neck of the woods. We have the a/c on nearly non-stop now. Have a great weekend. Tammy

  8. You know, when I first saw the one picture I thought it was some sort of flower or leaves -- but with a second look, I realized it is baby birds waiting for food. Cool photo! :) Tammy
