Where the H-E DOUBLE HOCKEY STICKS is Spring?

Answer: not anywhere near here. We've had another 18 inches of snow in the past couple of days.

{Sigh}

I have never been so anxious for Spring and warm weather....actually, we'll need many days of warm weather to melt all this snow.

I need to go from this (taken this morning).....

and this (taken yesterday afternoon)....

to this....

and then this....

For now, the closest thing to bouquets and gardens is this....

Guess I'll just have to make do until the real thing comes along.

  1. Hang in there, I hear it will be spring soon. Still plenty of snow here too, and I'm growing quite weary of it...time for green!

  4. Wow...that's a lot of snow! I hope you get some warmer weather soon. Just not too much too soon that could melt the snow too fast. The picture with seeds and the embroidered cloth look happy, warm and springy. We finally have warmer weather here. I've been able to open up the doors and windows the past few days. It's wonderful! Hopefully, the warmer weather is heading your way. :-)

  5. I hear you, so tired of cold dreary weather. It makes me tired and it feels so gloomy. At least there was sunshine today.

  8. You know, when I first saw the one picture I thought it was some sort of flower or leaves -- but with a second look, I realized it is baby birds waiting for food. Cool photo! :) Tammy
